Co-founder and Director of Latin addiction, Carrie's love of dance began at the age of 3. Spending her childhood years training in ballet, ballroom, Rock "n" Roll, tap and disco, she completed all levels of examinations for ballroom, disco and Rock "n" Roll in the UK.

In her adult years, Carrie's passion has turned to Latin Dance where she enjoys teaching, performing and social dancing. Her enthusiasm and style ensures that she is a stand out on the dance floor. She loves being able to pass on her knowledge and flair for Latin Dance and to see others become addicted to it.

Carrie is also a qualified Zumba instructor. Her energy and obvious passion is simply infectious!

Co-founder and Director of Latin Addiction, Mark has always had a great passion for social dancing and has performed both nationally and internationally.

After cutting up the club dance floors in his youth, Mark discovered Latin dancing and has never looked back. His effortless dance style and respect for his dance partners ensures he is a popular dancer on the social floor.

He loves being able to pass on his knowledge and techniques to his students and is a very highly thought of teacher both here and overseas. His clear and concise style of teaching is both refreshing and easy to follow.

Mark performed with the 1st placed team at the South Island Salsa Competitions in both 2008 and 2009.

Mark has trained with numerous National and International instructors: Giancarlo and Masha Johansson, Jaime Jesus, Carlos Cinta, Edwin Rivera, Kadu Pires and Larissa Thayanne, Kevin Malpas & Chelsea Mount, Oliver Pineda and Luda Kroitor to name just a few.
