In 2010 Carlos Cinta collaborated with Joan Soriano, the world-renowned bachata artist and guitarist from the Dominican Republic, to create the first-ever bachata musicality and timing CD.
Carlos' Musicality Workshops will be modelled from this CD.
Workshop 1 - Timing to the different instruments
Saturday 1st September 12.45-1.45: Dance Room
Carlos explains timings to bass, bongos, güira, and full instrumental tracks. Carlos illustrates timing for dancing on 1, 2, 3, 4, and 1 with bass syncopation.
Workshop 2 - The rhythms within the music
Sunday 2nd September 10.00-11.00am: Dance Room
Carlos identifies derecho, majao and mambo rhythms within the music which allows you to read the music while dancing
